On November 15, 2008 the Santa Barbara Tea Fire started, it was the scariest thing I have ever seen. I have a number of friends that live in that area that had to evacuate their homes. We could see the flames and the smoke from our patio. In all 210 structures and homes were destroyed and 5,300+ acres where burned. They now have suspects from Santa Barbara City College.
